BOOKING + RESERVATIONS

Q: Hooray! I am ready to book Otis + Pearl Vintage Rentals! What is the process?

Along with the itemized invoice, we will also send you a rental contract and credit card authorization form. Kindly autograph it and send it back to us. We also require a non-refundable deposit payment of 50% of the total. Orders are confirmed once a deposit has been made and all paperwork is signed. The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days before your event.

Q: How far in advance should I reserve?

We are happy to hold items for two weeks on a proposal. However, a proposal does NOT guarantee the availability of any items. Orders made within one week of delivery or pick-up are subject to a 10% Rush Fee applied to the entire order.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), and Venmo. Please note that all returned checks are subject to a $30.00 return check fee, and all credit card transactions will be charged a 4% processing fee.

Q: Can I make changes to my order?

As long as items are not reserved by another client, you can make (-25 to +25) quantity changes to your order up until two weeks before your event date.  Items removed from the order within 90 days of the event date must be swapped for other items of equal or greater value. All rental orders must be finalized at least 14 days before the event date, with payment in full.

Q: Do I need to give a deposit?

Yes. We require a non-refundable 50% retainer along with a signed agreement and credit card on file to reserve rental items for your event date. Payment is required in full on short-notice orders (less than 30 days).

Q. Oops, I broke it.

Don't panic!  We L-O-V-E our collection to pieces, and we get really sad when our pieces are damaged, go missing, or are not respected, but we also understand accidents happen.  We require a copy of your license and a credit card on file for incidentals. If the item can be cleaned or repaired, you will only be charged for the cleaning or repair of the item, and any time the item is out of our inventory. If your rented piece ends up down for the count (lost, chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged), we will charge your credit card on file seven times the rental rate to replace the item.

Q: My florist would like to pick up all of the floral containers a few days early so she can arrange flowers ahead of time. Is this okay and is there an extra charge?

Yes, we do allow early pick-up of floral containers by your florist (provided they are available), and no, there is no extra charge.
